ANFA also published the annual calendar including the new events and the Women´s League, the Junior Football Tournament and Veteran Football Tournament.

According to ANFA President Ganesh Thapa, all member districts except three of the Kathmandu Valley will be divided into three divisions. Each district will have a club league and the winners of the district league play the inter-district league of their own division.

Top two teams from each division will quality for the National League of the respective divisions. "Two teams from outside the Valley will join respective divisions of the national league," Thapa said.

The District League will kick off on April 15, 2011.

Likewise, Martyrs Memorial A-division League will also kick off on the same day. Top eight teams will book their berth in the proposed National League´s A division event.

"There will be 10 teams in the National League A-division while there will be eight and six teams in B and C divisions respectively," explained Thapa. "There would be no relegation in the National League since no club is permanent in the proposed format."

The winners of the National League will get chance to represent Nepal in AFC President Cup, as all the prizes of ongoing Martyrs Memorial League will be transferred to the National League.

Likewise, ANFA endorsed the proposed Players´ Registration and Transfer Regulations for the A-division clubs of Martyrs Memorial League.

"In the lack of regulations, we have been facing troubles and disputes. We will be free from all that as the regulations will be effective immediately," said Thapa.

"Some clubs have signed contracts with a few players last month. We will give them 10 days to register those players with ANFA otherwise the players´ signing and transfer will take place as per the regulations," added Thapa.
Likewise, A-division Women´s League has been included in the calendar for the first time. "Armed Police Force has women´s team and Nepal Police, Nepal Army as well as a few other clubs are interested in it. We will conduct the women´s league alongside the Women´s National Football tournament," explained Thapa.

ANFA has added two more knockout tournaments for A-division clubs. Likewise, Junior (U-14) Football Tournament, HISSAN Cup, Veteran´s (+40) Football Tournament and Inter-municipality Football Tournament are all included in the calendar.
