Manang Marsyangdi Club signs Shaukhala

Striker Santosh Shaukhala has become the highest paid footballer in Nepalese football after his transfer to Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) has been finalized. He has registered in All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the official football association of Nepal, on behalf of his new club. He was the highest scorer of Martyr's A Division League football last season with a total of 19 goals for his old club Nabil Three Stars.
Shaukhala will recieve a monthly salary of Rs. 50,000 per month, which is the highest amount a footballer is paid in Nepal. After signing the contract with MMC, he said about leaving his previous club NTSC "I left the club because I could only see my effort and I can not single handedly take the club to win any championships. Now, many have left TSC and remaining players are also planning to leave."
Along with Shaukhala, Bijay Gurung, Sandip Rai, Anjan K.C also left TSC to join MMC. Similarly, Rohit Chand and Naresh K.C left Machhindra Football Club, Deepak Bhusal and Nirajan Khadka left Friends Club, Sujal Shrestha and Nabin Maharjan left Sankata Footbal Club to go in with MMC.
